  1. Install the 28ga Syringe Nozzle Tip (red) onto the syringe.

  2. Inject 0.5mL of grease into the X-axis motor mount bearing using the small grease port located above the ballscrew.

  1. Install the Custom Grease Nipple attachment onto the syringe.

  2. Push the custom grease nipple attachment into the port on the side of the ballnut and inject 0.5mL of grease into the X ballnut. While injecting the grease, it is helpful to move the axis by hand such that the grease is well distributed throughout the length of the ballscrew.

  1. Repeat this process for both the Y axis ballnuts.

  1. Push the custom grease nipple into the carriage block on the linear rail of the X axis. The port for the carriage block is underneath the ballnut, see image below. Inject 0.3mL of grease into the carriage block. Again, it is helpful to move the axis by hand such that the grease is well distributed throughout the length of the rail.

  1. Repeat this process for both the Y axis carriage blocks.

  1. Once the X and Y axis components are well greased, home the machine.

  2. With the machine homed, jog the Z axis down to Z300 using the touch screen or use the command below in the console.

  1. Push the custom grease nipple into the ballnut of the left z-axis.

  1. Slowly inject 0.5mL of grease into the ballnut while jogging the axis up. Be careful not to pinch the tool or yourself.

  2. Repeat this process for the right side. The grease port is facing the other way on the right side.

  1. Remove all tools and wipe any spills before resuming use of the machine.
