Tools Required:

  • 7mm Socket

  • Torque wrench

Parts Needed:

  • Nozzle

Step 1: Move the Bed and Print Head

  • Using the printer control panel move the bed down to Z200 to provide adequate working space.

  • Move the print head to the center of the build volume by positioning it at X150 and Y150.

Step 2: Preheat the Nozzle

  • Preheat the nozzle to 200°C. This will help loosen the nozzle for removal.

Step 3: Remove the Old Nozzle

  • Using a 7 mm socket, loosen the old nozzle from the hot end and carefully remove. Be cautious, as the nozzle will be hot.

  • Place the nozzle on a heat resistant surface such as a metal tray.

Step 4: Install the New Nozzle

  • Take your new nozzle and carefully thread it into the hot end. Ensure that it is properly aligned to avoid cross-threading.
